Nose Surgery and Your Next RE DEAL

Good Tuesday afternoon!

Two weeks ago I had a nose surgery that I have been waiting for since 2017.. Having a deviated septum affects sleep, workouts, speaking, breathing, and overall health. So it is definitely something that I was majorly excited to have fixed.

The thing I did not anticipate is how much I would be down after the surgery. For the next week I was completely useless physically, and mostly useless mentally. I have had nose surgery before (after the second time that I broke it in 2017), and I remember the recovery being terrible. But, I must have blocked it out of my memory just how terrible it was.

Because of this I did not get much work done, and my team had to pick up the slack in my absence. Bringing me to my larger point.

Having a team that you can trust, changes EVERYTHING. This does not only apply to business owners like myself, but rather in anything that you are doing. In your job, marriage, sports team, friends, family, etc. But lets focus on real estate investing.

In real estate investing, having a team that you can trust is of the utmost importance. I have so many phone calls with investors who have been taken advantage of by property managers not communicating with them, not giving honest information, placing terrible tenants, tenants not paying, properties getting ruined, and the list goes on and on.

Or investors working with a realtor who knows nothing about RE investing and is just trying to get them to buy a house so that they can get a commission.
